This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing, BWI East
Operations. Candidates should possess a minimum of fifteen years
experience in test, engineering and manufacturing operations.
Responsible for all Manufacturing Operations in the BWI East Integration
Cells. -- Antenna Integration and Test Operations & Sub-Array, and Final
Integration Assembly and Test (Radar & EW products). Organizational
responsibility for over 150 employees -- Operations management and
support personnel, and IBEW and SEA Union represented employees.
Individual will be accountable for an annual budget of over $20M.
Primary mission is to meet or exceed customer requirements by providing
quality products on time and within cost while promoting a lean
manufacturing environment. Individual must provide Leadership,
Management and Strategy skills and be able to direct and lead the
organization in support of the Annual Operating Plan and Long Range
Strategic Plan. Individual will also provide leadership and guidance in
areas such as: technical guidance, process development, continuous
improvement, producibility, capacity planning, MTA/Capital/Facility
planning, cost/benefit analysis, Manpower planning and staffing, PAS
execution, and merit planning. Individual also needs to fully understand
RF Testing and test equipment functionality, and will need to interface
and partner with both Director of Test Engineering and Design
Engineering towards a ONE NG solution provider. Basic Qualifications:
Requires strong leadership, management, and communication skills. The
candidate should possess a B.S. degree in engineering or a related
field. This position requires US Citizenship. Position requires a
security clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance. Preferred
Qualifications: Fifteen or more years of related experience with prior
managerial and manufacturing experience. Relocation Assistance
