Description:
Responsible for leading and supporting Lean Six Sigma based process improvement projects throughout the Division. Work alongside Green Belt teams to get them started, building their confidence, observing and participating in training, managing team dynamics and keeping the projects moving to successful results. Work Black Belt projects that move across functional areas. Expert level competency with Lean/Six Sigma tools and methodologies. Demonstrated analytical skills Process oriented - Experience in, or working with process mapping, value stream mapping and process analysis. Strong knowledge in all aspects of project management including but not limited to, requirements gathering, analysis, design, planning, testing, documentation and product implementation. Experience in training and applying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies encompassing Lean and DMAIC (Design-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control). Strong demonstrated team leadership and relationship skills. Familiarity with audit, compliance and quality system process requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and influencing skills. Highly results oriented; ability to effect change in a high paced environment. Preferred Work Experience: Candidate must 10+ years of related professional experience with at least 5 of the years experience in Lean/Six Sigma tools and methodologies and 3 years as a certified Black Belt or equivalent leading multidimensional process improvement projects Educational Requirements: BS or BA, advanced degree a plus. Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean expert Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship Have or be able to acquire Secret clearance Relocation Assistance Available. Security Clearance Required.
