To install, calibrate, maintain, repair, replace and troubleshoot all production and facility equipment. To operate equipment when necessary to ensure that line efficiencies are met. To train production associates in basic preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment operated. Shift hours are from 4:30am to 5pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and 4:30am to 9am on Monday.

Essential Job Functions:
Continuously monitor and physically inspect production equipment.
Diagnose problems when machinery malfunctions.
Operate welder, band saw, lathe, drill press and all types of hand held power equipment.
Perform repairs, adjustments and overhauls on plant equipment and document the encountered problems.
Perform preventative maintenance related work as required.
Dismantle and reassemble machines to fit or replace necessary parts.
Conduct electrical repairs.
Repair fabrication of equipment.
Complete work orders.

Other Job Functions:
Maintain inventory stock
Operate forklift
Complete paperwork as required
Train associates on preventative maintenance and equipment operations.
Operate spring and drinking water processing systems including changeovers, CIP, ozonation process, and overall quality standards spring water and drinking water processes.

Education: High School Diploma or GED not required

Related Work Experience: 3 years job-related work experience in the maintenance of high speed bottling equipment to include mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and PLC programming.

Job Requirements:
Ability to communicate and comprehend specifics regarding equipment malfunctions.
Visual ability to identify equipment problems; computer skills for ordering parts and troubleshooting.
Walking and standing for extended periods (2 to 3 hours) on plant production floor.
Body agility (climbing, kneeling, reaching).
Ability to read, write and comprehend equipment manuals, safety regulations, and operating instructions.
Ability to complete necessary reports.
Ability to move up to 70 pounds; manual dexterity to manipulate small objects.
Ability to distinguish color-coded wires and objects.
Ability to trouble-shoot production-related problems.

Job Location and Work Conditions:
Work is performed in high-speed bottling and production floor and occasionally in maintenance shop. Work is of non-repetitive nature and requires exposure to moderate noise levels, confined spaces, heights, wetness, fumes; subject to hazards, including: working with or near moving mechanical parts, electrical current, and exposure to toxic/hazardous chemicals.

Required Safety Equipment:
Safety shoes, gloves, face shield, masks, cutting goggles, welding gear, ear protection and hairnets where applicable.
