As the Maintenance Manager in our Atlanta location, you will be
responsible for the efficient operation, planning, directing and
supervising of the activities in the Engineering Department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Implement and enforce all applicable policies and procedures
Supervise Maintenance Supervisors
Supervise the training of associates to optimize their ability to
contribute effectively to the organization
Attend all appropriate meetings and share appropriate data with
associates
Enforce appropriate safety programs as they relate to Physical Plant
Oversee the maintenance of equipment
Implement and maintain information related to development of policies
and instructions for new and existing equipment
Oversee facility repairs including roof maintenance, sanitary
facilities, parking lot and related equipment
Must ensure that PM programs are in place and audit to confirm that
programs are being followed in a timely manner
Must train and develop skills of associates to meet needs of plant
operations and costs
Must make sure that plant is complainant with State and Federal
regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or
the equivalent combination of education, training and experience
3-5 years previous supervisory experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Excellent computer skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating
and maintenance instructions and Procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
