Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to handle the repair of processing and high speed packaging equipment. Extensive troubleshooting, preventative and predictive maintenance, and the ability to interface with PLC controlled equipment are all necessary skills. Experience with palletizing equipment a plus.
The ideal candidate will be a flexible problem solver who is willing to expand their technical knowledge to meet the demands of new technology. Must be a self-motivated, team player with excellent communication skills.
To qualify, basic metal mechanist skills required. You must have 2 years technical training and/or 4 years apprenticeship as a Mechanic. 3-5 years manufacturing experience coupled with the ability to read and comprehend mechanical drawings are necessary. Safety and quality consciousness along with the ability to work shifts and overtime are also required
