Position Description
The OC-ALC Manufacturing/Material Management and Supply Chain Technical
Lead reports to the Program Manager responsible for leading engineeirng
and technical issues related to B-52, B-2, E-3, E-6, and KC-135
aircraft. The candiaate will be responsible for development, planning,
and implementation of engineering and manufacturing strategies,
integration with government and Boeing program offices, and integration
with Supply Chain engineering organization. Candidate will be
responsible for refining and coordinating engineering requirements and
ensuring that requirements are implemented. Documentation of key
characteristics, processes, tool loading requirements are required in
developing the manufacturing plan. Refines, validates, coordinates and
implements conceptual designs and manages the program architecture for
build. Develops manufacturing plans and oversees processes, methods and
tools for plan optimization. Resolves complex technical problems of
significant impact to performance, cost or schedule. Serves as a project
manager to ensure that contract requirements, specifications, design
criteria and schedule performance are maintained. Leads advanced design
solutions and supports research of new product or business
opportunities. Coordinates and implements lean principles and
technologies. Designs and deploys Boeing Lean Enterprise analysis
methods. Interfaces with regulatory agencies, academia, professional
associations, suppliers, customers and other internal/external sources.
Provides guidance to others through structured mentoring. Works under
minimal direction.
Typical Education/Experience
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's
and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years'
experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or
Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in
engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET
is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

*Experience in detail part fabrication processes and assembly operations
is a plus.*. *Knowledge and experience on KC-135, E-3, B-52 and B-2
aircraft is a plus.* *Applicants must be able to obtain a DoD Secret
Clearance.* * U.S. Citizenship is required.* * Annual salary range is
$67,000 to $98,000 plus (US Dollars)* * Up to 15% travel in support of
this position is required.* * Relocation assistance is available.*
