Position Description
Layout, fabricate, rework and assemble patterns, mock-ups, molded casts and /or all types of basically non-metallic tooling other than wood.

Typical Education/Experience
Typically two (2) years of vocational training and two (2) to three (3) years experience in this type work, or equivalent.

Other Job related information
Lay out trim and reference lines from supplied data, where true views exist. Using accepted methods, fabricate all plaster and plastic tools, parts or shop aids and perform laminating process when required. In the performance of specified duties use all material, tools, equipment and instruments to include precision measuring and alignment devices. Within the scope of above duties; select, mix and pour required chemical agents. Move own work, tools and materials as required for job completion within shop assigned and when practical (weight-size) take work to inspection area for required inspection; when not practical, initiate action to obtain inspection. Familiarize other employees with work activities and assist higher-graded employees within the scope of above duties, to include assisting in the set-up and operation of equipment, when required, to prove parts prior to production run on patterns fabricated. As required maintain forms and records. Perform all work in accordance with prints, specifications, other specified documents or oral instructions and in conformance with Company standards of safety, workmanship and good housekeeping practices.
